Maggie's Stereo represents one of the first comics I have done that wasn't for any class. It was specially made in eight hours for MCAD's annual mini-con where students make and sell their own mini-comics. Additionally, there are awards given to comics as judged by a panel of teachers and a visiting artist. This comic won 'Best of Comic 3' as I am an upperclassman.
The work was loosely inspired by an incident in which my own stereo was stolen from my car. Although I never found out who stole it, I wouldn't be surprised if it was indeed a monster
